There’s a lot that makes Gen X special, and I’ve dedicated a lot of space on this site exploring it all. And also making jokes and making fun, because that’s kind of the Gen X way.

We’ve got a lot going on right now – many of us have young children, college-aged children, adult children, and grandchildren. We have new careers, thriving careers, stalled careers, and retirement planning. Not to mention aging parents!

Stress is inevitable in these times but I’m all about tackling it, usually with something of a minimalist approach.

I’m looking for something. I want my Sunny Porch. I guess that’s a metaphor for my own, personal, sweet, sweet midlife.

How will I find it? I’m figuring it out. This site is my personal journey. But you’re invited.
